Youngest Female Deputy Mayor In The Country at 27
In May this year, at the age of 27, I was elected Deputy Mayor for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. This set two records; firstly I became the youngest female deputy mayor in the country and secondly, along with the Mayor Mrs Kemp, we were the first ‘all female duo at the top’ in the borough’s history.

Report calls for greater female representation
Commenting on the Equal Opportunities Commission report today highlighting that women are missing from Britain's top jobs including those in Parliament, women2win Director, Lorraine Fullbrook said: "We welcome the EOC's findings as they echo what we have experienced in politics for too long. women2win was set up to help more Conservative women get elected to Parliament and we are already showing signs of improvement in the number of women selected to stand at the next election. Long gone are the days where we can all stick our heads in the sand and think that the level of female representation in the House of Commons is acceptable".
