The Hackney Conservative Federation has selected its Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for next year’s general election.
Amy Gray, the PPC for Hackney North and Stoke Newington, lives in Clapton. She first moved to Hackney in 2005, after graduating from the University of Oxford, to teach English at The Skinners’ Company’s School for Girls and then went to work for the Conservative Party. She currently works for Tesco and is a school governor in Hoxton.
She said: “I’m thrilled to be representing the constituency where I live, which is also where I first became interested in politics. I’m going to start by listening to the people of Hackney North.”
