Kim currently represents the people of Wandsworth as a top-polling Councillor and has previously undertaken the role of Deputy Mayor in the neighbouring borough. She actively champions the interest of her local community’s young people as a school governor and a board member of a children’s centre as well as being a mother of two young children. One of Kim’s key objectives is to help develop local businesses in Streatham a challenge she is well equipped to tackle with her background as a chartered accountant.
Kim said: “I’m delighted to have been selected this evening to represent the Conservatives in 2015. I relish this opportunity to work hard with the Conservative team for Streatham residents and to overturn Chuka Umunna’s majority and to highlight the folly of Labour’s economic policies. Through my voluntary work, I appreciate the importance of local community and how rewarding it is to get involved. I love my role in public life and I have the right skills, passion and leadership qualities to build a very strong and compelling campaign.”
