Virginia Crosbie

Virginia’s background, whilst extensive, is not traditional; she trained dolphins, worked in the Pharmaceutical industry, moved to banking and is now a teacher.

As a candidate in the June 2017 General Election for Rhondda in Wales, Virginia is well placed to provide support, advice and training to women who wish to enter Parliament or become more involved in politics and public service.

During her business career Virginia has championed gender diversity and acted as a business and personal mentor to a number of businesswomen. As part of IntoWork Virginia is mentoring people from her local community and helping them to achieve their potential. She is also involved in ‘Make It Your Business’ which supports female entrepreneurs.

Virginia is a Governor at the new Hammersmith Academy, teaches Maths at the Masbro Centre in West London and works with two charities, ParentGym and the NSPCC.
